Cardiac PET Scan
The most advanced form of cardiac imaging available allowing for real-time assessment of blood flow within the heart during stress to locate blockages.Stress Test
Cardiac performance is evaluated under stress with exercise using ECG to detect electrical abnormalities as well as heart pump function with real-time cardiac ultrasound.Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram is an ultrasound of the heart that evaluates the heart’s structure and function. It provides valuable insight into the heart muscle condition and the valves.Electrocardiogram (ECG)
An electrocardiogram is a noninvasive test that measures your heart’s electrical activity, detecting irregular heart rhythms or signs of a heart attack.Cardiac Monitor
A cardiac monitor is a portable device that continuously records your heart’s electrical activity for an extended period, from 24 hours to 30 days.
What to Expect During Cardiac Testing
Your cardiology team will explain the test, what it involves, and what you can expect before, during, and after your appointment. We ask that you wear lightweight, comfortable clothes along with athletic shoes (if exercise is needed). Depending on the type of test, your cardiac testing may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, and our experienced team will guide you through each step. Most cardiac tests are noninvasive and require little to no recovery time.
Our team is here to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible while ensuring your testing provides the information your cardiologist needs to evaluate your heart health.
